Hailo - The Taxi App App Reviews

When I was able to use the app, it was great. Every time Ive tried in the last 6 months, I havent had any cars in my location, so I havent been able to actually use. If you can find a car in range it seriously is a great resource.

Scheduled a taxi in London, and taxi never showed. When I called taxi driver he said that he had another fare. I would never trust the app again.

A cab driver in Dublin Ireland turned me on to Hailo.... So far its worked perfectly. Two thumbs up.

I tried to put my address in, and the closest result was "London, UK".

Love this app! Needed to change hotels in Madrid and was going to a cafe first that had wifi. Of course, cafe was full so walked until I found wifi. Had entered my info in the app before leaving, requested my taxi, and followed him on the app until he arrived. Loved that I could see his pic and plate number so I just didnt randomly jump into a cab. So easy not to have to fumble with money on the way out, too. Grabbed bags and I was done. Will definitely use again!

The latest version keeps crashing at start up on iOS 9.0

I have used this app extensively in Dublin and Limerick City. It is a great system to get licensed cabs to safely find you. Especially after having a few in a pub.

Much better than uber, gett and all other apps! I gave it a try for a week and deleted all other apps! Plus, takes ALL credit cards - international included!

Latest version crashes on launch — never even gets to landing screen

Works like a charm at every launch. Service is super fast and drivers are wonderfully courteous. Added bonus - it allows you to support the alliance of black cabs! Five stars from an across the pond friend.

If you want to support the Black Taxi Cabs of London; this is the best. It gives you the notifications of Uber but still supports the Licensed drivers of the city. We were told of the app by our driver and decided to try it out on our way home from dinner. I out my information in, my location, and even secure credit card payment info. They replied with a driver photo, plate number, and even GPS as to where he was en route. He arrived, verified information and we were off. Made excellent polite conversation the whole trip and even had us laughing. When we got to our hotel, the best part: No need to pull out my credit card again, he puts the total in and my automatic tip I suggested is billed and we got on out without holding up traffic. AWESOME! Wont have to bother our Concierge any more with flagging us a cab for little runs.

Not usable

This app worked perfect! It was late at night and I needed a reservation for early the next morning. It was so easy to reserve a London cab on the app rather than call all the companies or chance it in the morning. I will definitely use this app again when I am back in a city that uses Hailo

Not only did James pick us up within 3 minutes of my request, but he ended up giving us a great tour of Cork and Blarney. I couldnt be happier with the app and the service.

I use hailo in spain, and they are the only app i have that keeps sending promotional notifications that i cant opt out from. When i wrote customer service they did not answer. Spam is illegal!

Did not realize this was for international taxi service and deleted the app. Shortly thereafter I got a phishing text. Never had a fishing text before and Im highly suspicious. Heads up!
